In serene setting – near cove & beaches… This quaint, comfortably furnished, much-loved family cottage is located on a secluded, wooded lot in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Home of the late Robert M. McClung, well-known naturalist, author and illustrator, it is within an easy walk of the Town Cove and public town landing where you can launch your kayak, canoe, or other small boat to explore the salt marshes. You and your kids can have fun walking, netting, and beach combing along the fascinating shoreline. There are also quiet roads for bike-riding.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms, and a full bath including tub and shower. Upstairs are two recently insulated/renovated bedrooms with ceiling fans, and a bath with stall shower.
A beach umbrella, beach chairs, and other beach supplies are available in the basement.
